In the CIBC Investment Banking Case Competition teams are asked to work on a simulated buy-side mandate for a leading Canadian corporation. Teams are required to structure an accretive transaction with various financing combinations that include cash, stock and debt. The process involves comprehensive quantitative methods including DCF, comparables and LBO analysis. The finalists are invited to present their recommendations to senior CIBC leaders. Following the event, all participants are invited to a networking event to connect with CIBC representatives.
